I turned up on The Digital Fix podcast again (you can find last time’s here), this time on the topic of awful movies by great directors.
The choices were John Carpenter’s Ghosts of Mars, Katherine Bigelow’s The Hurt Locker, and Terry Gilliam’s The Man Who Killed Don Quixote. My choice was David Lynch’s Dune – for which I ended up watching the 177-minute cut of the movie as research.
